Guided Tour of the Royal Palaces

The Royal Palaces complex of the Karađorđević dynasty in Dedinje (www.kraljevina.org) is open to the public from 1st April to 31st October.

Duration: About 2 hours, accompanied by a tourist guide
Route: By bus to Dedinje, then a tour of the palace park, Royal Palace (Kraljevski dvor) and White Palace (Beli dvor) on foot.

Tourist Trains

Romantika Tourist Train

The Romantika museum train, with first, second and third-class carriages, renovated and adapted to suit tourists, travels from Belgrade to Sremski Karlovci, Novi Sad, Palić, Vršac, Požarevac, Smederevo and Vrnjačka Banja.

Departures: Saturdays and Sundays, 11.05 and 15.00 from the Main Railway Station

The “Blue Train”

The ‘Blue Train’ is the popular name for the special train used by Josip Broz Tito, the former President of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, to travel in comfort around the country and abroad. The Official Suite and dining room, with film projection facilities, three luxury carriages and a restaurant can accommodate 92 passengers in total while the full capacity of the sleeping cars is 90 beds.

Route: Belgrade – Užice, Belgrade – Subotica, Belgrade – Vrnjačka Banja
